as some of you might have guessed, i still couldn't get enough of busujima-neesama character as of current [ much like how i was with fumino then ], thus here's more of midori-san's splendid busujima-neesama get from comiket 78. you may as well read my previous posts / musings on her busujima-neesama get here and here :3

NOTE : THIS POST MAY NOT BE COMPREHENSIBLE MUCH DUE TO ITS SPONTANEOUS NATURE-

once a devoted shipper of takashi x saya, i now personally believe that both takashi and saeko would make for a better couple [ though i still be rooting and preaching for the harem path, this, for one is a must ! ], as they both seems to closely mirror each other out, character and psychologically wise. so now with that said, episode 09 has clearly illustrate the tightening chemistry between the two which was further expanded [ and explored ] from those they had since episode 05 and above [ remember their splendid teamwork in the mentioned episode :3 ]

now back to the main concern of this post here, busujima-neesama has begun to slowly steal the main attention away from the rest of the series' main heroines [ not that it's a bad thing anyway ], and even the delicious tsundere takagi-san has to fight a little harder these days so to remain within the spotlight of both takashi and us, the audience. but fear not, it is most unlikely for takagi-san's fanbase to dry out as she is among those which has been considered by some fans of the series to be one of the founding pillars that gave life and point of attention to the series, not to mention that a generously packaged tsundere always often wins by default.

busujima-neesama, for one is among the best current example of the badass-cool oneesama archetype, along with figures such as kaorin-nee [ kaori kanzaki, of index fame ], chikane [ of the ongoing amnesian fame, the original chikane from kannazuki no miko is more of the cool-ojousama type :3 ] yachiyo todoroki [ of the slice and life / comedy working !! fame ] and yomi [ isayama, of ga-rei fame ] among others, and the archetype of which i have been a standing fan and supporter of since. her seemingly calm and collected attitude / persona provided the best cover / contrast to her proficiency, adeptness and elegance in the art of cutting things up, without having to lose herself greatly to weaker emotions [ though she had exposed this weakness once in the recent episode 09 ]

those inducted into the fold of the badass-cool oneesama archetype are often not without having a highly contrasting cute side embedded to their character, a point of which were often marked as target for the few visual / situational gags that is meant to follow so to breathe in more realism and life to their character and personality - aside from just being a comic relief in moments of tense. these random cute sides of course made their way into busujima-neesama's character within the series - only that when they were installed into her, her character attraction point begins to score a full blown overkill, perhaps a bit more so than those of takagi-san's x3

sometimes her character does reminds me of chikane from amnesian, but i guess that was just me =3

here's another fine dojin from comiket 78 based on the upcoming fall series ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai, translated into english by the unlimited translation works team. by fine, i meant to say it here that this dojin truly is one of the best, well done masterpieces released during the recent comiket, and everything about it were hands down magnificent. the art [ and overall design ] were lovably gorgeous, almost reminiscing those seen in the original novel. the story as well were presented in such a fast pace, and personally i myself enjoyed the way it flows through although i must warn those who might be offended later that this dojin primarily panders to the incest theme, thus if you are totally not into this kind of theme then you better be distancing yourself from this one dojin here; though i will be considering that as a loss on your side :E j/k



oh and also, i greatly favor the fact that this one here were done in full color x3 surely more love from me goes into this. so anyway, since now that you have seen how magnificent the art [ alone ] is from the above preview, i believe that it's about time you peeps give this one a firsthand peek / try by yourself^^ . in the mean time, i saw a lot of wonderful dojinshis based on the novel [ oreimo ] released during comiket 78, and if time permits i might as well put some of them up here for share sooner or later :3

aha~ i told you peeps that midori-san might consider on doing a saya, and what's more is that her saya-get really works ! just like her other tsundere-gets of course [ despite her lack of 'over-generous bust size', which is required in order to fulfill a 100% perfection for HOTD cosplays ]. anyway, she certainly got the frowns [ among takagi-san most defining facial aspect ], her well chosen wig [ in regard to its hue ] were sculpted to near-perfection [ with her twintails tied neatly by those right choice of ribbons ] and she even had the near-right frame of glasses on as well x3

oh and let's not forget her busujima-senpai get which has been touched upon prior; this one clearly is an expansion of her previous busujima-neesama cosplay seen in comiket 78, with the only [ and most apparent ] differences being the redesigned skirt [ now more revealing than before ] as well as the inclusion of them high-stockings [ ? ], both of which were set to match with the latest choice of apparel seen when the [ fictional ] HOTD party came to acquire their humvee. and thanks to the wardrobe upgrade, midori-san's busujima-neesama get is twice more sexier [ and lethal ] now :3

FLAWLESS YUI-NYAN~♥

i was hoping to post these earlier, but there is not much that i could gather for uriu-san's [ magnificently ] splendid yui-nyan get. still, that won't stop me either as we'll just proceed on the images we already had in keep, among which as always five of the best will be selected from the set and be displayed here for our occasional cosplay feature :3

as always, the one thing i greatly love about uriu-san is how she often picks her cosplay correctly, most of which matches her built, look and personality [ on camera ] well. this too can be attributed to her yui-get here, and most especially her successful hit on both her well styled wig and costumes. the accompanying accessories were also well conceived, and that includes the tail + little wings attachments on her back [ they were not seen on any of the pics featured here of course as i had to preserve the pic count to remain consistent with other cosplay entries ]. adding to this, her pose and quirks before the camera helps in securing the flawless status for this lovely cosplay-get of hers :3

oh btw i missed the CN for hinata's layer, which is why i haven't mentioned it anywhere here. but one thing i am sure however is that the layer is a female and a steady [ cosplay ] partner of uriu-san in her cosplay group. and also i didn't meant to ignore her, but you see... i am not interested in male characters, and that as well expands to cosplay [ that was so rude of me v.v ] x3. but i do appreciate her role as hinata here as it helps in adding in a bit of life to uriu-san's yui-get :3

sooner or later it should be expected for this to be posted here despite i've promised myself not to write anymore entries on figurines for +ophanium. well anyway, here's a megahouse-get of fumino serizawa from the moelicious romantic comedy series mayoi neko overrun !, set for release this november, and to which i have put my pre-order without much hesitation nor second thoughts spared.

now, as apparent from the product stills that is featured above, the overall sculptwork has beautifully highlighted fumino's [ much obvious ] gorgeous figure with her sexiness further accentuated thanks to the wonderful pose itself, giving out nice service while adding up more thumbs ups-get from those who greatly worships her, as myself is. delicious paint job is certainly delicious and i greatly love it when much of the original character design made for the anime were finely retained on her.

aside from the additional two pet cats atop her base, fumino as well comes together with two different face sets of her for ye peeps to alternate between her tsuntsun and deredere facial expressions :3

honestly said, i wasn't much a fan of love plus, and usually i would often pass love plus dojins everytime i came by them. however, this one is a given in that it was conceived and produced by none other than mitarashi club which has brought to us the moesome 'akiko-san to issho' dojin series [ derivative of kanon, originally by key's ]. that said, how can i simply overlook this dojin here when they were done by a circle which i had put my utmost regard to ? :3

the story is simple yet nevertheless it is sweet, and i kind of love the the author's approach in fleshing out nene-san's character within this brief romance dojin; her character and personality is very well felt, and this, were among the circle's most prominent strength which had their name and reputation lasted within my favorite list. the art and character design definitely were remarkable as always, and you will never be asking for any better than this when it comes down to mitarashi club :3

dojin updates : amakusa moyou na + akiko-san to issho

with the recent [ summer ] comiket 78 came two latest volumes of the highly anticipated dojin series amakusa moyou na [ by saz, derivative of to aru majutsu no index ] and the absolute win akiko-san to issho [ by mitarashi club, derivative of kanon ]. just like always, we'll be updating our posts of these two wonderful dojins here with links to the latest volumes on our mediafire folder, and thus feel free to go ahead and make your way to their respective post so to acquire them for your reading pleasure :3

SAEKO-NEESAMA GOES TO C78

for the past month, i've been expecting that midori-san will somehow come out with a highschool of the dead-get sooner or later, as hinted from her tweets throughout the month of july. however, my initial expectation then was that she were to pick up saya takagi instead of saeko here due to her apparent continuous effort in cosplaying tsundere characters, most of which were done admirably great to my utmost pleasure. but still, her choice of a saeko-get shouldn't be taken as a surprise either since saeko's character design were as well within the chara-scope that midori-san will most likely be venturing into :3

moving on, again, her chest aside [ i know a lot of saeko / HOTD fans will be questioning greatly over this ], this certainly is an admirably good cosplay for the featured character, for midori-san has definitely got the right look as well as the badass-in-a-cool-way expression / visage that is much needed to complete her portrayal of saeko busujima; those expression of hers, added with the bokken has magnificently brought forth the tough killer neesama aura enough to win our greatest approval over her flawless character execution. also, the biggest point of this saeko-get of hers goes to the wig which were sculpted in a very well done fashion, thus near-faithfully complimenting the original design seen on saeko's character :3

YURIPPE WUZ 'ERE

as you can see from the featured image set above, it's a direct hit~♥ *insert homerun fanfare here*. but still, there's two notable inconsistency lies there; the cloth / ribbon [ whatever you call it ] on her headband - were supposedly a green-tinted yellow piece instead of pale blue while the headband itself should be black instead of dark blue. yet otherwise, ayano-san has pretty much nailed this yurippe-get of her, and for that we shall gladly overlook the two minor misfires thar and award her with a 5 out of 5 rate x3

5 FOR THE PRICE OF ONE

this one should have been posted about few weeks earlier, but procrastination as well as heavy-gaming has had the best of me as of lately :P but so anyway, amagami ss is another anime for the summer block aside from shukufuku no campanella that is pulled in from a game, as well as spiritually succeeding another romantic enterbrain-entree kimikiss which was produced [ and aired ] about 1-2 years earlier by j.c. staff. with that said, amagami ss has pretty much retained the [ almost ] similar look and feel of its said predecessor in the anime context, thus maintaining the atmosphere and the exact feel both series had mutually shared.

like kimikiss, the story is rooted very deeply in the romantic foundation, although with less to little drama written in as of current. the whole series took in a 4 episode-per arc kind of approach, with each arc focusing primarily on its respective heroine while others made supporting cameos throughout without meddling in too much with the leading pair of the current arc[s]. the storytelling were exceptionally fast-paced for a romantic series, and each arc will conclude itself by their respective fourth episode; frankly said, amagami's approach in storytelling is kinda new to me [ although i slightly remember having sat through 1 or 2 series which adopted a nearly similar approach as this ].

so as far as episode 07 goes, only 2 of the girls [ haruka morishima and kaoru tanamachi ] has been focused, touched and elaborated upon as of now, while others [ as mentioned in the second paragraph above ] has made their presence seen and felt over time. but still, even in their supporting parts, much knowledge can be gleaned and learned from these yet-to-be-highlighted heroines in regard to their very personality and quirks, and this is among the many aspect of amagami ss that i loved the most x3

the character design is very lovable, or perhaps i should mark them as splendid... and i will not be asking for any more better than how it is as of now. just as expected from aic, definitely. the overall art direction, as well as visual execution is remarkably top notch [ according to my eyes and preference, as of now ] and it seems that a handful of budget were pumped into making this series a possible success; certainly is an admirable effort from the production team that resulted in a job very well done.

ADMIRAL ACKBAR TO ROGUE COMMAND; "IT'S A TRAP !"

here's another [ short ] anime with trap, for those who favors them a lot... like myself *cough*. and be noted, that this one here is a series of two episode ONA [ original net animation ] so it is somewhat expected for them to run lesser than 5 minutes on each episode, thus in case you're craving for more, might as well write to santa before this coming christmas and wish for it to be picked up and produced into a full fledged tv series just like haiyoru ! were, as announced recently :3

anyway, the ona is based on a manga of the same name and features a very brief scene which i assume is a chapter worth of material condensed into two short episodes. the ona starts off with a brief introduction over the legendary school archer known as 'kami no ko' of the fudou clan, who then disappeared from the archery world for unknown / undisclosed reason. moving on, a short but lovely female student were transferred into the school [ much to the high enthusiasm of them boys in her assigned class ] where the primary story took place, and was later revealed to be a cross dressing boy named sasaki gonzaburou, shocking all of those who had pinned their hopes high prior :D . teh horror ? well i think not ;3

the ona is a standard fare of comedy, but with that said it does had put me into several fits of laughter much to my own amusement. and while the comedy may not be as lethal as haiyoru ! nyaru ani nor penguin musume ♥ heart were, still kaichuu ! held its very charm well in its own way, definitely. the art and animation were both pleasing to my eyes, though it can be much better than it was... so hopefully the production team would later consider on taking this series on to the next level by giving it a much more elaborate tv series-get :3

despite not having anything groundbreaking nor of high value within it, i especially enjoyed this brief ona while it lasted. gon-chan's character was an easy fave for me, especially when he she were playing cute around the lead guy. however, once gon-chan goes into his her 'serious business'-mode, then it truly is another sight to behold :3

bake the cake, it's +ophanium's 2nd anniversary !

it's august 6th again, and today marks the second annual milestone reached by our dearest +ophanium since its foundation 2 years ago - our very persistence has lasted this long, and the team is quite proud of ourselves despite we haven't been much active as we once were before. but still, we greatly hope for this second anniversary-get to otherwise spark a significant change deep within every one of us [ though we're most likely to stay as laidback as we were these past months since hime's still fully captivated with the recent video games catch-ups :P ], as well as reigniting our dimming passion in keeping this moeriffic blog alive and running for as long as we could^^.

a lot of changes has been made throughout our second year; some sections has been permanently removed while others received lesser and lesser coverage by each passing months. our intention as of recent is to focus more on the two primary topic we had in mind, that is anime and cosplay while covering sparsely on the remaining two subject of interest that was once a staple content here - doujinshi and music. the once 'regularly-updated' toys and figurine section will no longer be here as there are many other blogs out there which did a much better job than us over the said subject :3

with all that has been said, may this [ anniversary ] event would again return in the years to come for as long as we are able to pour in the same faith, dedication and commitment we've given to this blog on the days and months which have since passed before this very day. once again please let me thank all you people for all the time [ and bandwidths ] you have spared [ or wasted ] over reading whatever entries we had to offer no matter how absurd and ridiculous our grammar, vocab, thoughts, opinions, points etc etc are... god knows how great the appreciation we had over you peeps ^^
